Angella White is the founder and CEO of Be My PEEPS™. She is a registered nurse and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She holds a Masters Degree in Diabetes Education and Management from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her passion for providing diabetes self-management education stems from the tragic loss of her sister, Sonia, to undiagnosed diabetes over 30 years ago in Jamaica. Her dedication to diabetes care and education and a desire to honor her sister’s memory led her to develop the PEEPS™ program, as a way to expand her scope of practice. She is currently enrolled as a doctoral student in the Primary Care Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner program at Loma Linda University School of Nursing.
